Interview
I was called in for the first round interviews for the Business Technology Analyst position. There were basically two rounds of interviews. First round of interview was held on-campus.
First Interview(SDLC): I was expecting it to be a difficult round. My interviewer read out a case to me and I took notes. He later asked me questions about how I would approach the case problem which was basically all the steps involved in SDLC. I laid out 8 different steps in the SDLC process and went in depth of each to be more descriptive and the interviewer asked me detailed questions about each step. I was getting a sense that it was not going that well as the interviewer said at the end of the interview that it was a interesting discussion:P
Second round(Behavioral Interview): The questions asked were all behavioral. i.e. Explain a situation where you had to deal with a difficult team member. etc
This round went pretty well. I think
I followed back with my interviewers with a thank you note. And one of them responded with an "All the Best" reply. A reject e-mail was sent later that evening. The second day interviewers were held on-site the very next day.

Interview
Even before the day of interview, we were given the option to talk to some of the deloitte employees via a conference call. The idea behind this was to answer any questions that the students might have with respect to the interview process on the next day.
The day of my interview, first round was a resume based interview with some behavioral questions. Round two was a case study pertaining to CRM.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Deloitte (Kansas City, MO) in Oct 2010
Interview
They took a group of us out to dinner on a Thursday night. I had 2 interviews Friday, 1 behavioral and 1 case study. I was invited to visit the office and had one more case study interview there. I heard back a couple weeks later. I was pleased with the presentations that they had given and thought the position sounded like a good fit for what I was looking for. Everyone was really easy to talk to about anything, they were very upfront about everything including the downsides to the job.
They expected a lot from the interviews. They kept emailing studying materials for the case studies. I think studying and reviewing that information was very helpful. I first I thought they were asking too much to prepare for an interview, but they are just looking for the people who are willing to put the time and effort into it.
