I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Deloitte (Mailand)
Interview
First I received a call from the recruiter, which lasted around 15 minutes and introduced me to the job position and to what they were looking for. We booked a meeting for the following week, in which he asked me classic behavioural questions, nothing fancy. Up to then the process was good and the recruiter polite. Afterwards they asked me to take two online tests before the technical interview, of which one being a 15 mins very specific test on Java 8, and the other one an English test of more than one hour. What's been bad is the final technical interview, in which the interviewers showed up 30 mins late and they made the interview the most awkward thing I have ever experienced. Last but not least, you go through all this and they don't talk about money or benefits until you pass the final interview, which I find very disrespectful of applicant's time. I got rejected but they didn't even care to say what went wrong, just sent an automatic message, even after I politely asked them to give me some explanation. Spoiler: don't expect too much because I had a feeling they were gonna offer me an internship even if I had worked before and I'm at the end of my MSc. Do yourself a favour and avoid this company ❌
