The process began with the written test being conducted three weeks prior to the interview. It consisted of quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and English. The written test difficulty level was medium. After clearing the written test, we faced two more rounds- Case Study and Interview (technical + HR). The Case Study round gauges your team playing skills and presence of mind. A case study will be given to you, which you have to complete reading and understanding within 10 minutes only and then set down to answer the questions asked in the end. Each group consisted of 10-11 members. The administrator observes each member of the group while they identify the problems the case study illustrates upon, their causes and discuss among themselves the various possible solutions. We were given 10 minutes for discussing. Avoid looking at the administrator during the entire activity; you will lose points. After 10 minutes, we were asked to make a presentation of the case study on a chart paper (using sketch pens) within exactly 5 minutes following which the administrator left and another administrator entered. We had to now explain to the latter administrator the case in study, one by one, beginning with the introduction of the case, the assumptions and margin, the problems we managed to identify and the solutions we suggest. Everyone should speak for a minimum of 2 minutes. The administrator will also asked us questions regarding what we had spoken about. This is a team activity but marks were allotted to students based on their individual performance. After the ase stud round, there was the final interview in which both HR and technical questions were asked.

I went through two interviews. The first interview included the behavioral part and case part. The second interview was with a managing director, and the entire interview was about solving a M&A case.
