I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Twickenham, England) in Jul 2019
Interview
Simple process, telephone interview was organised with no consideration to availability and I was not consulted as to a preferred time. Face to face interview was again organised with a choice of two days and a preferred time.
The telephone interview was a rigorous competency based interview that felt scripted and lasted over a hour. The face to was more informal and the lack of arrogance was impressive. This was again perscriptive but comfortable. It was dissapointing that I was sent from office 2 to office 3 and back to office 2 upon arriving for the interview.
The business clearly knew what they wanted and that on this occasion was not me. The most dissapointing factor was the lack of feedback, in effect it was a straight no.
Whilst I appreciate I am not a “typical” top 4 candidate given my lack of education, the experience has left me feeling very frustrated as any ambitious person wants to learn from their failings and Deloitte have not afforded me this opportunity. I would however apply again as I felt the Director and Manager interviewing were people I could work with.
Easy but background check was horrible! Unfair CRA. BI unit was ridiculously incompetent and would not take phone calls. Emails went back and forth forever and they kept asking the same questions over and over without resolution.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Deloitte (Bridgetown) in Sep 2017
Interview
Two interviews HR and technical.
HR was taken by a recruiter
Technical was taken by two Partners.
Both were taken on the phone. Scenario-based questions by Partners, while HR interview focused on my preferences on cities where I will like to work, salary, relocation etc.
