The interview process was supposed to be:
Interview 1 HR Phone screen if you pass then:
Interview 2 with a partner would be a culture fit / behavioral interview. If you pass then:
Interview 3 with a partner would be a technical interview to assess skills. If you pass then:
Interview 4 with a partner, also the HM, would be a case study and presentation.
What actually happened:
Interview 1: HR shows up 30 minutes late. Insults me, my experience goes on and on about how I am not qualified. Then says obviously this won't be for Sr Manager so I am being down graded to Manager. Then degrades how little I can expect to be paid without actually mentioning pay grade. Then decides I pass. Partner interview 2 is scheduled.
Interview 2: It's supposed to be a culture fit/behavioral interview but ends up being more a bar conversation. HR calls after to insult me, tell me the pay will be even lower, that I passed the interview but I've been downgraded from Manager to Sr Consultant.
Interview 3: It is supposed to be a technical assessment but it is more a bar conversation. HR calls after to insult me, tell me the pay will be even lower, that I passed the interview.
Interview 4: It is supposed to be a case interview. No case is ever discussed. It is again more like a bar conversation.
HR calls to tell me I didn't pass because they were looking for a Senior Manager.
