I went for a job interview at Deloitte's development arm that builds solution for clients of their consulting business.
They deal with a steady flow of very varied problems, as you would expect for a consulting business.
The interview process was good and fast paced: I spoke with developers, project managers, client account managers and more developers.
They quizzed me on both technical details as well as big picture items. This was great because the bigger picture questions gave me a bit of a breather between the minutae that were asked.
We did both paper-based algorithm questions as well as two actual coding exercises, where I had to transform some data structures and implement some methods on an interface.
There were a lot of questions about team orientation (I'm a senior developer), so we delved into this at length. A lot about project planning, sprint planning, etc.
Fun day, all in all!
