Interview
The interviewing process consisted of three parts: an online assessment to verify you have the basic skills the job requires, a phone interview used by Discover's hiring department to get a feel for the individual's personality, and finally, an in-person, on-site interview where you will get the opportunity to listen to phone call conversations with customers you will be having, and giving your opinion on them, giving the hiring representative a chance to determine if you share the same views and values in customer care as the company does.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the interview, the hiring representative will display 10 cards that all show different qualities a customer service representative should have, and they ask that you put them in order from your strongest to weakest abilities, then question you on the order you've given.

Interview
I got an email about midway through March asking me to come down to their office. It was a 2 day process and we got put up in a hotel nearby. The first day was just dinner and although it seems friendly, I got the sense that I was being judged by the employees. No problem, that happens at all dinners I've been to with potential employees. The next day, I faced an orientation of sorts, before 3 30 minute long interviews. Most interviewers seemed little disinterested. I spent longer talking to one about her upcoming pregnancy than anything else but overall it was quite casual. Asked basic questions, nothing too surprising, and time went by faster than I thought. After, had a lunch break followed by a 'group discussion' where we were meant to talk about Discover. I recommend you really read up about Discover and it's products as it was obvious who had and hadn't. This is where they almost grill you and you know you're competing with the 4 people sat around you for that job. After, we had a pretty relaxed group presentation. They gave us 30 minutes to basically conduct a SWOT analysis of Discover. All in all, was good, not too grueling but READ UP about all their products, etc.
