Interview
I had 3 rounds.
First, I dicussed with a HR person on phone.
Second, I did a technical interview with general questions and basic task solution.
The third round was still a litle bit technical because the same person was the interviewe but after the half of the time, we switched to manager interview.
This interview process is pathetic; the duration was 1 hour and 30 minutes, with only 15 minutes given for coding. The remaining 1 hour and 15 minutes was entirely oral, where you have to keep speaking continuously. Your throat will get strained, and due to the overwhelming number of oral questions, you won’t be able to recall any answers. EPAM should improve their interview process by dividing it into multiple rounds instead of having one lengthy session

Interview
Online Coding Test: 1hr
Technical Round 1: 1.5 Hr
Technical Round 2: 1.5 Hr
Managerial Round: 20 Min
HR Round : Didnt Happen
I endured a grueling virtual interview process for Pune location that involved a coding test and two in-depth technical rounds covering a wide range of topics including Python, SQL, Spark, Pyspark, AWS, Databricks, warehousing, and more. To my utter disbelief, after investing a total of 3.5 hours and clearing all these rounds, a manager dismissed me as 'technically unfit' following a superficial 20-minute discussion for unknown reasons.
It's clear this company has no regard for candidates' time or effort. To be rejected so abruptly after such a rigorous evaluation is insulting. The HR representative expressed astonishment at the manager's decision, stating they were 'disappointed' and 'surprised' by the outcome. Unfortunately, they informed me that the manager's decision was final and couldn't be overruled. It’s unacceptable for a single individual to hold such power and make such reckless decisions. It seems you dont trust your own hiring process.
I strongly advise anyone considering this company (particularly in India) to exercise extreme caution. Beyond the questionable interview process, this company has a infamous reputation for its hire-and-fire policies. Only proceed if you have exhausted all other options.
