I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at EPAM Systems in Jun 2021
Interview
Initially approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn and agreed to a phone interview. The woman who called me wasn't the one I had spoken to. The first 10 minutes she explained what the company was about and it sounded great. I was then asked to talk about my experience ( 15 years and several BIG companies ). I don't even call it an interview for the role per say but felt more like a recruiter screening process. It felt like she was reading a basic script with generic questions that a Sr designer knows about... After answering question 2 ( see my response ) she had totally turned off I could tell. I don't know if it's because I told her about my age or what... Anyway, I got an email 2 days later telling me the generic no thanks... It's the first time in years I don't even make it to a real first interview with the hiring manager...

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Hyderabad) in Jun 2021
Interview
I found a suitable opportunity on their career site, applied and then reached out to one of the HRs from the org. Got a call from the HR very next day and then I asked for couple of weeks for prep.
During this prep phase, I was asked to appear for an online test. It included 23 MCQs to be solved in 20 minutes. Topics ranged from Core Java, Spring, Kafka, Micro services, etc. I was immediately told that the result looks great and that HR will wait for my heads up when I am done with prep.
I asked HR to schedule the interviews when I was prepared in two weeks time. The rounds went as below:
1. Tech round # 1
2. Tech round # 2
3. TechnoManagerial # 3
4. HR discussion on joining bonus, etc.
All above 4 steps were completed in a weeks time.

Interview
Decent interview. They focus mainly on java, data structures and algorithms. There is 1 hour interview. Nearly they ask around 80 questions. They cover all topics in java. So learn in depth in java. Be strong with data structures and algorithms.
