I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (London, England) in Apr 2020
Interview
Applied to the company via an agency. I was told that online test invitation would be sent shortly however I had to wait for 3-4 weeks for this . When I received it, it was scheduled by EPAM resource team on public holiday!
Anyway after few hurdles, my online one to one interview was conducted by some engineer from Ukraine.
I was told that I got through that round however it ended up in black hole. I didn't hear anything from them.
Annoying thing was it was very painful experience as a whole, took lots of effort from my end to prepare and attend interview. Even after clearing the round I ended with empty handed.
Being a contractor, I hate to loose my time/money!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
It was very detailed interview on python which nearly took 1.45 hours, longest interview I have ever given. He asked pretty much everything within python including some coding test at the end.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Budapest) in Mar 2019
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter online and I was asked about my background experiences and projects I have made. Also talked about the EPAM culture and workflow. After ~40min phone interview she invited me to take the technical part on-site in 2 weeks. The technical part was a five part pre-made algorithmic challenge series and a whiteboard task. Here I talked with a senior colleague more in-depth.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Zürich) in Apr 2020
Interview
Interview process takes 4 steps.
1 - 30 minutes call with the HR consultant. General questions about relevant knowledge and experiences aggregate for the opening.
2 - Technical interview with Senior specialist or manager in the area. A lot of practical questions related to your previous experience and how you handle situations.
3 - Manager of the area preparation for the clients interview. No questions or little about you. Take notes and do home work about the client.
4 - Interview with the client, multiple people. In my case, they structured the interview in two rounds. First talking about me and experiences and second is a practical test.
