EPAM Systems interview questions

HR called me and told me he wanted to close this position ASAP so please attend 2 VC round from HYD India, and I have cleared after than he told me to go and meet Director in Pune all the way I went and had 2 hours of Discussion. And as per HR I have cleared and he asked me my joining date as I was serving notice. After than no communication from HR when I called HR he told me position is internally filled with bench resources. Is this something kind of Joke? HR wasted my time energy and hope so it's very negative feedback from my side.
