I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EPAM Systems in May 2018
Interview
Mainly I've been contacted through Lkdn by EPAM recruiter in order to establish a common timeframe for having the 1st interview.
He contacted me at the appointed time and for 30 minutes, he presented me the opportunity more detailed and the next steps of the recruiting process as well more detailed (1 technical interview, 1 HR interview and 1 interview with the client). Very friendly and helpfull
After some time I had the technical discussion. A super common sense interview for a business analyst, with some role plays considering you in different real situations and some basic technical questions regarding the business requirements gathering.
After the technical interview, is the HR interview (check for motivation) and the interview with the client which are more formal. I wait for the answer now.

Question 1
Give me some examples of non functional requirements
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Budapest) in Sep 2017
Interview
The first technical round is a generic programming interview to see if you're a good programmer. They ask about your experience and specifics, but most of the focus is on your problem solving skills. The first technical round was a very positive experience, it makes it seem they're looking for good professionals who can adapt to any situation. They seem to trust you to adapt to new technologies as long as your smart.
Then you're hired.
And then you have to take further job interviews for the potential projects you could join, and later also with the clients of those projects. These are the complete opposites of the first interview. These are the interviews where you'll get questions like "Have you worked with our exact same technology stack for multiple years?" These interviews are the same as the more strict specialist job interviews, you're treated like an outsider.
When you get an offer from Epam and you accept it, you should still not cancel your other applications until you passed the inside interviews. Even though you're technically hired, your job is not guaranteed until that point.
The interview was with one of the directors. It started way too informal given I met him for the first time. Initially I confused it for friendliness. He then started bombarding me with personal questions offering not to answer if I do not feel comfortable. And personal questions continued pouring. It was not friendliness. The individual was simply learning my success story for himself, possibly, finding it unreal due to his own inability to achieve anything of this nature. It was jealousy, lack of trust, intimidation - all in one. The entire interview had little to do with discussing applicability of my skills and achievements. This is the most humiliating interview experiences I had in my long career. Maybe directors at this organizations feel entitled to act like this. Maybe this is an acceptable standard. Not in million years I would see myself working for this business.
