I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Budapest)
Interview
Recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn if I would be interested in the UI academy (3 months paid training and a job after it).
Did very well on their online test (drag and drop JavaScript code lines to form algorithms they want)
Also did well on their in person test (this was really positive, liked the interviewers and their attitude.
The last step was the resource managers round. The guy promptly started telling that my work experience did not meet the criteria (trying to destroy my salary expectations). After this he asked how seriously am I thinking the salary I expect from them (I have told this the HR at the beginning of the process).
Turned out they what people to sign 2 years for some low salary. Not my game.
