I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Bengaluru) in Jun 2025
Interview
I applied through LinkedIn and got my interview scheduled within 72 hours. The L1 round was for 90 minutes. I have 13 years of experience as a .NET Full Stack Lead with expertise in Angular, Azure, and DevOps. The interviewer had 12 years of experience.
The interview started with an array coding question where I wrote the logic, but it didn’t run due to a syntax issue. After that, for the next 90 minutes, there were 5–6 more coding problems involving LINQ and one SQL problem. I did decently—my SQL query was correct, and 2–3 LINQ queries were also correct.
A few questions I was unable to answer included “What is ValueTask?” and “What is .NET Standard?” Apart from those, I was able to answer the rest.
When I asked for feedback, I was told I needed to improve my coding skills. Despite a 90-minute technical interview, I haven’t received any rejection email from EPAM.
Tips for senior professionals: Avoid applying to EPAM if you're already working at a Big 4 or major tech company. The interviewers tend to have a lot of ego. Even if you have 15 years of experience and are interviewing for an Architect role, be prepared for array and LINQ questions—as they often don’t differentiate between a Lead Engineer and an Architect.

EPAM has contacted me 3 times!!! And none interviews were successful, I understand that I may not be a fit for the company, but ran 3 interviews, technical tests and more is a waste of time for me and for the recruiters!
