EPAM Systems Senior Ssoftware Developer interview questions

Firstly Got a call from HR, initial screening for around 25 min. All HR related questions. Then Technical interview was scheduled, It was for 1hr 30 min. Questions on Java, CI/CD, Memory Management. I cleared this round. Then Managerial round lasted for around 30 min. After follow up, came to know my position is on hold because they are looking for some local candidates. They should have checked this criteria before to save time for them as well as for me.

Very unprofessional way to interview candidate. I applied for TL position. Cleared 1st Tech round then HR says we don't have budget for TL and it will depend on Interview. Later got interviewed for TL and rejected. I asked HR for Sr Software position, got interviewed and rejected. My interview went very well even though I got rejected. HR was pointing out unnecessary things out of my resume.
