EPAM Systems Software Developer interview questions

First interview was with HR. She asked about my background, also described everything from how is living in Budapest to the company culture. However she didn't mention the company's pay range. After taking the technical interview and offering the sallary, I declined the the offer.

A recruiter reached out to me and set up a technical interview. After the interview no one notified me about anything. After 3 weeks some other recruiter sent an email and asked if I want to proceed. I said I would like to proceed however she said my salary expectation was too high and they will not be able to accept that and ended the discussion. Poorly organized procedure.
