3) Manager round (general discussion + salary negotiation)
The technical interview is highly question driven, so that the applicant does not have a chance to talk about his experience. The last year of my carreer was basically covered with a question or two..
Furthermore, it took them 3 rounds to say that the salary expectation is over their budget for the position (while the outcome of the techical interview was positive and I matched the level that I applied for). I believe they always proceed with the interviews whatever salary expectation you have for the role (so they have the chance to get someone hired for a more senior position in case the applicant is betten than what he thought he was)
