How do you get people to change their mind to be on board with your decision
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Eaton in May 2013
Interview
I had two interviews one on the phone and one on site. The phone interview was very standard about the job, my schooling history, and if I'd be comfortable with working with 3 phase power.
On Site took place over about 3 hours that involved 3 interviews with 5 people the first was with HR going over my expectations for salary and benefits, the second was a technical interview with the two lead engineers that involved writing code for various problems. The final one was with the Manager and the Senior Manager going over basic technical questions as well as personality ones.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eaton (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Uses behavior based questions and a full team.
Long interview process with at least 6 different managers.
Be prepared to give specific examples of past performance and situations.
Very thorough when it comes to history and the process used to solve problems. They don't do a personality test, or any form of numerical assessment either. All of it consists of question and response. Most interview teams consisted of 2 people, but occasionally it was only 1 person.
