I applied online. I interviewed at Edwards Lifesciences
Interview
Seems like these folks ONLY want the very young. But since they also want experience (and post low salaries), looks like they are constantly searching, but either no hiring and/or lots of turnover. Waste of time!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are your top strengths that you bring to a position.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Edwards Lifesciences (Irvine, CA) in Feb 2020
Interview
Reached out via email to schedule a phone call. Recruiter had to reschedule phone call more than once. More of a conversation than an interview. The phone call was brief and mainly went over what I was looking for and what experience I have in working with specific types of software.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Edwards Lifesciences (Irvine, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
After passing the phone interview, a week later I met with a half dozen interviewers from different functional areas connected via their "matrix" org structure. Each interview was scheduled 30 minutes apart. I personally found this to be too short to get my story out. In hindsight, I wish I would have had an abbreviated , concise interview format prepared. The people seemed nice enough. Some more senior managers seemed distracted or disinterested. My sense is that a conveyor belt of past candidates had worn them down. The position I applied for was still open three months later, so it must have been seriously being shopped around for candidates. The offices seemed a bit dark and only senior managers had access to windows.
