      I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Entain in Mar 2018

      Interview

      I have been contacted by a recruiter by email to set an first short interview by phone call after a few days. At that very moment I was still working abroad, I wasn't living neither in Spain nor in Gibraltar, that was the response to the first question made by the recruiter, but I was looking for a job in that area and I was ready to move whenever there was the possibility. I applied since I studied communication, I have good writing skills and I like football. After fifteen minutes of very smooth phone call with no problem at all, I have been told that they would have contacted me to let me know if I passed the first step to go to the second interview. I never heard from them anymore. I contacted the recuiter after one week to know something, anything, and I received an OOO message pointing to a colleague for urgent matters, so I waited for her to go back to work. No answer. So I recontacted again, and I didn't receive any response. Since I got pissed off, I contacted the guy that the OOO pointed to, in order to complain about the behaviour of the recruiter, since GVC is a big company I would have expected a better attitude. No answer neither from that person. I am doubting that the company exists, those people are still alive or if they are just completely unrespectful and unprofessional. I don't expect a response whenever I apply for a position, but I do if I am in the middle of a process. Mainly if the response is asked three times. It's not a big deal to send an email to say "Sorry, but no". A good recruiter should be able to chose the best people but always to respect everybody. I have the feeling that recruiters in GVC are kinda unrespectful, unprofessional and careless.
