      Graduate Management Trainee Interview

      Apr 30, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Cardiff, Wales
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (Cardiff, Wales) in Apr 2018

      Interview

The interview Process currently includes: - Application Form - Telephone Interview - Branch Visit - Assessment Centre I applied for the South West Region and was dealt with by Emma - one of the Talent Acquisitions. The application form was very simple, it gave you the opportunity to detail your skills and experience. I was then shortlisted for a telephone interview after a few days. The telephone interview was very straight forward, simple questions about why enterprise, when you've given good (great) customer service, your proudest achievement and then a conversation about you as an individual. My interviewer made me feel very at ease on the phone and created a great conversation, allowing me to not feel on edge and be my true self as a candidate. At the end of the phone interview I was told I was successful and would be progressing onto the next stage, which was brilliant. Around a month later I had my branch visit, you get a strong understanding if Enterprise is right for you at this stage. My passion was predominantly retail and I was cautious about what to expect, however I was shocked for how well the company operated, its values and commitments to its customers. Along with this they strongly advertise their 'Enterpride' campaign in the branches which really showed how far ahead this company is compared to its competitors. During this you should go on a customer pick up if their are customers available, do ensure you interact with everyone you see and smile. Their was then a 30 minute interview with the branch manager, which is a lot less worrying than it might seem - the questions were similar to the phone interview stage. I found out I got through to the assessment centre two days later and was given the choice of three dates, which I chose to the first one - its better to get these things done quicker so you don't have to worry in the long run. The Assessment Centre was the best part of the experience. You got to meet a lot of the team higher up in Enterprise, and it was a chance to show your leadership, work ethic, customer service, sales and motives to your potential employer. As a graduate or future graduate this is your chance to shine to them, so ensure you're engaging with everyone. The day consisted of a logistics task, customer service role play, sales role play, group exercise and final interview (with a networking lunch in-between). By no means if you feel you did not perform as well as you could for one or two of the stages that you cannot bring it back around - because this is exactly what I did, and turns out they thought I was a lot more successful than I viewed myself. One last bit of advice, be yourself and during the group exercise no employer is looking for someone who talks over and ignores other candidates to get their pitch chosen, it doesn't matter if you're chosen or not - be a team player. Overall the experience was the best one I have been on, I found out two days later that I was offered the role and proudly accepted the position.
