I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility in Mar 2018
Interview
I was invited for a telephone interview following a quick online application form. I was emailed detailing the time for the interview to take place, however the recruiter never rang in the 1 hour window that was stated. I followed this up, and rearranged for the next day. The recruiter did ring this time, however the call was later than the stated time. Not a good first impression.
The phone interview was very informal, and lasted around 10 minutes. It was mainly explaining my current situation, why I wanted applied for the role and outlining any sales experience I had. During the phone call I was invited for a branch visit, at my local Enterprise store.
The branch interview involved shadowing the current trainees in their day-to-day work. This lasted around 45 minutes and was a great way to find out more about the role by asking questions and also spectating. I then had an interview with the regional manager which lasted around 40 minutes. One question involved constructing a pie chart of what I thought the job would entail. To my surprise, half of the time of the trainees would be spent driving and delivering cars to customers. The other questions were mainly competency based, which emphasis on sales experience.
Following the branch interview I was invited to an assessment centre. I declined the offer due to a number of issues:
1. The emphasis on working 50+ hours a week for £20,000 a year does not reflect the stress and pressure placed on the current trainees. I got the impression that there is fast progression within the company, but you do need to work for it and it definitely has to be something you enjoy.
2. I didn't apply for a graduate role to spend half of my time driving.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (Cardiff, Wales) in May 2026
Interview
Had initial screening call and as my background was mainly in a different market was made to feel uneasy.
