      Graduate Management Trainee Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (Cardiff, Wales) in May 2019

      Interview

I applied online, was asked to do a telephone screen. This was fairly basic, lasted around 20 mins, the talent acquisition team member was really lovely and made the whole thing really relaxed. Invited me to the next stage at the end of the call, this was a 1 on 1 interview with her which lasted around 30 minutes. Pretty similar questions were asked, I think it was to generally get an idea of your personality and suitability to the role. Invited to next stage at the end of this as well, which was a branch visit. Branch visit was really interesting, got to interact with customers, quiz current GMT's on their experience so far as with the other employees in branch. Got an idea of their way of working and the systems they use etc. This also included a little 1 on 1 interview with the branch manager. For me this only lasted just over an hour, but it can last well over 2, so plan for a big chunk of time. Got home to a phone call inviting me to an assessment centre the next day, so the whole process is very quick which is great and means you're not kept waiting around. There were just under 20 of us at the assessment day, consisted of a sales & complaints role play, hosting a meeting role play, various different 'get to know me' games and question sessions with different level managers. A group task to see if you work well in a team and get your opinion across etc and a final 1 on 1 interview. Overall, it was a really fun day! All of the other candidates were lovely so it was great to be in a relaxed/friendly environment. We were told from the beginning that there could be a position for all of us so we were against each other, which was reassuring. All of the management were really friendly, and the talent team made it successful and were really friendly. It was about as informal as a formal assessment could be, which brought out the best in everyone. Generally, they're looking to see if you're a good fit for them and their teams. If you make it to the assessment centre then there's something they see in you which they like! I'd definitely say go for it if you are interested, the people you meet (the ones I met at least) fill you with confidence every step of the way and try to pull the best out of you. I will be told if I receive an offer tomorrow, fingers crossed.
