I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ericsson (Pleasanton, CA) in Mar 2011
Interview
I was told the needed an Architect real quick, then I waited two weeks for the initial call, the interview was set up gor the following week. Had the interview and later I was told I would fill a space for a plan checker. Thought that would be a good fit and after 20 years in telecom I could step in and do the work with no problem. The following week i got word the next higher manager had hired someone else...called to get atleast a debriefing of what happened...no call back
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions seemed like they were to make my trip to the office for nothing, it concluded in 20 min. and no formal paperwork, just that I would get a call later in the week.
Very straightforward, two-way conversation interview to discuss role, responsibilities and target objectives around sourcing and procurement. Interviews typically involve recruiter screening, a hiring manager interview, a case or technical assessment, a second stakeholder interview focusing on delivery and sourcing, then references and offer.

Question 1
How have you managed complex IT sourcing projects end-to-end, balancing cost, risk, and delivery timelines while working with multiple vendors and internal stakeholders across regions?
Siento que mi entrevista fue increíblemente productiva. Logré transmitir mi entusiasmo y explicar con claridad cómo mis habilidades se ajustan a la perfección con las necesidades del equipo. Salí con la confianza de haber dejado una gran impresión.
The interview process includes a phone interview, followed by a detailed discussion with the recruiter. Successful candidates proceed to an interview with the line manager and other project managers for final evaluation.
