I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ericsson (Stockholm, ) in May 2021
Interview
1) First step in the process was to do a "homework". I received case assignment, had to review it and complete it within 7 days. In short, it was to create 7 powerpoint slides in which I need to explain what is the problem and why, what value the solution will bring and how impact will be achieved. The aim was to demonstrate problem solving skills, business understanding and creativity when working with highly complex and uncertain environment.
2) Video interview with recruiter
3) Case interview with two random employees from the team. Interview started awkwardly since I expected that they will lead and guide the interview, but it was more like staring at each other and not knowing were to start. Then I took initiate and suggested to jump right into a short walkthrough of my previous "homework" assignment. It was supposed to be max 5min, but interviewers started to drill me down on the random solution I came up with (this was not mentioned as "to prepare" by recruiter who set up this interview and the solution didn't have to be realistic as per assignment). We proceeded to the case assignment and it was presented verbally only as well read poorly. In the end, I also had to solve a small quantitive task, which again, was not mentioned as "it will be a part of the task" by recruiter previously.
In the end, I was rejected. Received a feedback that I failed to provide a clear thread to the case solving.
Very strange approach when you, as a candidate, is being evaluated only by your analytical skills and not bother with personality evaluation. Not even mentioning poor coordination activities between recruiter and "guest" interviewers, including the failure to brief a candidate on what to expect.

Interview
The overall process took almost 2 months. First, there was a short HR call more like an introduction, after a few days I got a Hackerrrank type task (60 minutes for 3 tasks), an essay, and a few questions about team collaboration skills. Later there was an online interview with two department managers about the results of the coding tasks and introduction of the departments.
