I applied online. I interviewed at Ericsson (Budapest) in Feb 2020
Interview
The job description was very vague, as later turned out this was because they held a general interview consisting of a logic test, basic programming task (3 and you could write it in python, c, c++, javascript or java) and a test of technical skills (linux, internet protocol etc). Based on the results teams selected the candidates they want to interview in the second round. The whole process took about a month

Round 1: Technical interview for 30 min. Interviewer asked about several topics related to data science. The first topic was about convex optimization which I had listed as relevant coursework on my resume. Other topics included linear regression, linear separability, and imbalanced data. I was able to answer the majority of the questions. After 30 minutes, the interviewer asked if I would like to continue to which I responded yes. We continued for another 30 minutes for a total of 1 hour. Recruiter replied within 1 business day that I had passed.
Round 2: ML coding interview for 90 min. I was given a time series dataset to predict disaster scenarios and instructed to code a solution on my local machine and share my screen. I had no experience or familiarity with any time series algorithms or imbalanced data classification problems so I found the problem difficult to do within 90 min. Recruiter replied within 1 business day that the interview did not go well.
