I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ericsson (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2015
Interview
There were two rounds of interviews over telephone. First one being resume and interests

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ericsson (Budapest) in Jun 2016
Interview
A few days after my application they contacted me via email. The first round is a written test that consists of a logic test (20 mins), a basic programming test (15 mins), and a personality test that you can do at home (no time limit). These are the mandatory tests, you can also choose from other programming tests like Java, C++, testing skills, etc. These don't have a time limit, but you have to finish the whole thing in 4 hours (except the personality test). The tests are mainly single choice, with a few multiple choice questions thrown in here and there.
