Interview
Three interviews. Initially a screening inteview by HR, then cross functionally by affected departments in design, program management, supply and sourcing manager. Last interview was hiring manager and HR. The majority of the offer reqards to salary was discussed with HR who feed back my counter offers internally. Then HR followed up to call me with an final offer. However this was the fourth time they asked me for my resume and finially got an interview team set up. Over the four years I was there a lot of changes in HR have occurred I suspect newer hires are going there the HR Dallas office now.

Question 1
The most difficulty area to me actually where the designer it seems at the San Jose location it never had a mechanical person in operations just support from the PCB/PCBA (board level) Alot of question related to DFM, CAD / Solid works versus drawings and they wanted to know how I would ensure suppliers built there designs correctly. Actually the interview with the sourcing manager was the easiest they were building assemblies in Mexicon and China but still using USA suppliers for Sheet Metal, cables, and other mechanical parts. Mainly they wanted someone with experience in these countries to source local suppliers.

Interview
The interview was not very hard I think. It mainly includes questions about data structure and algorithms, for example, one was about how to find if there exists circle in a linked list and write code for it, another one was about quick sort.
Some other questions are about c and c++ grammers, for example, static or object oriented programming. Also, design pattern was asked.

Aptitude test on computer. No technical questions asked except gates. It depend on interviewer. In other room a lot of C was asked.

Manager was interviewing me. He asked problem solving questions such as what should be done to improve the visibility through window pane of car when it rains ? another was you cut the bar into pieces problem...
