I applied through other source. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Bellevue, WA) in Nov 2019
Interview
It was taught. The interviewer was angry, and difficult to understand him at phone. He was upset every time I ask him to repeat the question. Only memory questions (wikipedia questions instead of real uses cases you have been working on). One after another, without stopping, making so much pressure. I don't want to take an interview for Expedia again.

Interview
Initial phone chat with internal recruiter followed by phone interview with hiring manager, finally 2 hour in person interview including a technical test, and meeting about 6 people. I felt it went positively in some ways but not so much in others. So, while hopeful of a job offer I was not too optimistic, thinking its maybe 60/40 against. What annoyed me was the complete lack of feedback from internal recruiter, who I chased twice by email asking for interview feedback. As it was more than a couple of weeks and still no response was fair to assume no job offer...but come on, how hard is it for an internal recruiter to send a response?!?! This is the sort of thing that gives recruitment agents a bad name, but in this case it was an internal recruiter so no excuses. Maybe expedia not so great to work for if this is their staff attitude?

Interview
Pre recorded video interview on Hirevue.com, it felt quite impersonal, awkard and monodirectional. You are shown a number of videos of a recruiter asking questions and then you have 30 seconds to get ready before the webcam starts recording your answer. Throughout the process you don't have any chance to ask questions about the job nor the company.
