The recruiter was sweet, and straight to the point. Once you get a video interview with the “interview managers” though expect them to make you feel uncomfortable and belittle you. They made me feel like after a terrible interview process with irrelevant questions they will go behind your back and laugh. After reading the negative reviews of people that worked there in the past- it makes 100% sense. It did NOT give off a good vibe and seems like a toxic work environment. I politely declined to proceed with the recruitment process. It was actually unbelievable that they expected a “go getter” and someone who basically broke their back slaving meanwhile they sit back and aren’t educated about finding the proper candidate. I don’t need a job THAT bad. I was shocked at the smirks and body language they gave off. I hope you will also read the reviews of people who worked there!! Save yourself
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They only asked me what I did in my previous role to make me a good fit for this position
Initial interview was through HireVue, where you basically speak to a camera on your computer and record your answers. You have a chance to re-do for each questions. There were about 7-10 questions, including a few questions that you just type.
I applied online. I interviewed at Expedia Group in Nov 2025
Interview
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Prag)
Interview
Everything went well, they asked some basic questions about my knowledge, experience, and motivations. The process had three rounds, including a case study on how I would improve an imaginary hotel’s performance. In the end, I declined the offer because the salary was far below the range I had provided when applying. If the final offer had been closer to that range, I would have accepted. They could have told me this in advance, so we wouldn't have wasted each other's time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In my case study, I had some data about an imaginary hotel and its competitors’ revenue, average length of stay, room nights sold, booking window, and other basic performance data. I had to analyze how the hotel performs against its competitors, create a strategy to improve its performance, and present it within 45 minutes.
