I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Expedia Group
Interview
I applied online and received a standard confirmation email that said they received my application. Then I didn’t hear anything back for almost a month. They scheduled me for an odd video interview where I recorded my answers video a webcam. After that, I waited three weeks for them to tell me that they were going forward with a different candidate.
If I’m not a fit for the company, that’s fine. But it took SEVEN weeks to get an answer and felt like they were disorganized and dragged their feet. Thankfully I interviewed at other places while I was waiting and got another offer. Don’t apply here unless you have a couple months to invest in the process.
The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Apr 2018
Interview
Worst Experience.
10 rounds of interview, 2 visit to office at Gurgaon, Salary structure shared, Pressing to join early was done.
Based on HR confirmation, things were planned on my end and then they told me you dont have positive feedback whereas after every round HR shared your own feedback has been super positive.
I think this organization driven from Gurgaon, India has to learn professionalism and they ought to treat resource as humans.
I really wish if i could share their emails and things with high authority in Expedia so as to ensure what they did to me is not repeated.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Expedia Group (London, England)
Interview
The interview was done online and I went through 9 questions.
There are 2-3 questions about hotels.com (which I applied to) and 2 questions in SQL and 3-4 Python questions (programming)
Overall the interview was good and I have learnt a lot from that.
I was however disappointed not getting feedback from Expedia. I spent a good few hours on the interview and I would like to know where I need to improve.
I emailed Expedia and got auto-reply that they will get back to me within 3 working days. Nothing happened after a week. When I replied to the auto email, they said my case was closed and sent me a link which I could re-open my case. The link did not work.
I emailed them again to ask for feedback and sent another chasing email the following day just want to make sure I would get something. To my surprise, my case was closed (although they said they will get back to me within the next 3 days) and the re-openning link did not work (again).
I give up chasing my feedback and will never apply to Expedia again. I am very disappointed with how they treat with "after sales" customer service and not sure how they was awarded award for best working place in 2018.
