Interview
I applied in April 2017. Initially started with an email from the internal recruiter asking me to complete a test online following which we would arrange a telephone chat - I got this email in June. Completed the telephone chat and had a telephone interview arranged with a Director in Marketing. Passed this and got a phone call within 2 hours stating they wanted to call me in for a face to face.
This was done in 2 parts; A further telephone interview with a Senior Manager and a series of face to face interviews and a group presentation. I was given a week to prepare for the presentation. I prepared and went for the interview which I feel went reasonably well - I have no way of telling for sure as it's been over 2 months since that interview and I have had no feedback or communication at all from them.
I find this rather unprofessional. I can understand large companies having long hiring processes but what I cannot comprehend is the lack of communication for over 2 months after investing 5 hours of my time in interviews and a further 7 hours preparing a presentation.

Interview
HR phone screen -> two weeks later a phone call with hiring manager -> two weeks later got invited to onsite that lasted from 8AM - 3PM -> two weeks later another round of video tech interview on coding, ML, and optimization
Overall experience is very pleasant. Loved the office. All the interviewers were friendly which sort of made me think that it was promising for me to get the job.
However, I can see that the team wanted to test if my tech skills are solid enough by having the additional video interview, even tho I had already had a 7-hour onsite with 6 people including 2 DS, 1 software engineer, and 3 managers already. I did fine in the last round, not sure which part didn't impress the interviewer. The feedback was that my ML background is not strong enough. Well, I'm confident that my ML background is solid, their expectations are high surely.
