I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Expedia Group
Interview
The interviewer took a very condescending tone telling me that Expedia is much more high tech than my current company. Other than that the interview went well and they said they would send an email regarding a tech interview later but that never came and HR was unresponsive to emails.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (London, England) in Feb 2016
Interview
I had a phone interview with the hiring manager which went well and there was an understanding that I was the person they needed. Then followed an on-site interview which was less favourable. I felt lured in for interviews when I wasn't the person they were really looking for. This annoys me with a lot of companies. Why do I have to take time off work and prepare for an interview when my skills don't exactly match what they are looking for at the moment? I wish they would stop doing this. It leaves a bad impression of the company, especially when they don't thoroughly explain their decision afterwards or are too cowardly to even call you.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Bellevue, WA) in Nov 2015
Interview
Took almost 3 months from start to finish. interview day was long, no breaks given and people were back to back x 6. Then took almost a month to be told no offer. Was told a few times they haven't decided yet, Granted it was over the holiday season but they just didn't seem like they had their act together.
