I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Bellevue, WA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Phone screen with the recruiter followed by a phone screen with a Senior Manager. Recruiter phone interview was the normal stuff. The phone screen with the Senior Manager was 100% technical... no questions relating to actual management. Nothing super difficult... some I knew and some not... I felt I was maybe a 65% fit for what he was driving at.
100% no follow up from Expedia afterwards. I emailed the recruiter a week later just to tie up loose ends... he responded he was getting the feedback and then nothing... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... the sounds of silence.
I expected better from Expedia.

Question 1
When you show up in the morning what would you do to see how the service you are responsible for is performing? Or words to that effect.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied online on their website. First had a HR call followed by a technical phone screen, which was followed by an in-person interview.
The in-person interview was close to 5 hours, and each person interviewed me for around an hour. Interviewers included engineers, product managers and directors for this role.
Questions were a combination of technical, analytical and behavioral - and they also asked questions about current challenges they were facing.

Interview
The recruiter was very unprofessional. She missed the first phone screen and failed to email me about it, so I contacted her and she said she was sick. Second time, she missed the phone screen again. I finally got ahold of her later that day, she picked up and asked me verbatim, "Where did you get this number??" She gave it to me the day before. We had a short chat with lots of noise/talking in the background of her office and she said she'd get back to me in a week or so. She did not email me or respond when I sent her another email.
Expedia's HR was by far the most unresponsive and difficult I have experienced.
