HR did not seem interested or keen to understand my profile or experiences throughout the interview process - felt like he just had a list of questions to ask (all of which did not really link to each other but rather traits / skills they are looking for that position).

Interview
I passed the initial questionaries and video tasks and they showed interest in my skills and profile. The first interview was scheduled in a co-working space but nobody was there to receive me. I called the contact person and was told to arrive at their office in the city center. I then had an interview with the Nordic region manager. The second interview was with the personnel of the local office, which included enactment of typical sales situations. They promised to let me know the result within 2 weeks during which I found out by other sources that the position was filled. They sent the official announcement that I was not selected, almost a year later.

Interview
I started with an initial screening call with someone from the recruitment team. This was fine and they were nice enough, but no indication was given as to how long the subsequent interview process would be. I then had six 1:1 interviews with various members of the team over a period of about six weeks. Following this, I was unable to get an update from the recruitment team for almost a month; they finally scheduled a call, during which they apologised for being 'really busy' and implied they'd gone with an internal candidate. Overall, this was a frustrating and dehumanising experience and I won't be applying to Expedia again.
