Interview
Applied in august. Received an email offering phone interview at the beginning of october.
Phone interview was standard fare in regards to salary etc.
Face to face started 15 minutes late as interviewer was in a different meeting. Interview was OK after that but didn’t really discuss the role. Focus was on how you would deal with certain situations and familiarity with the app.
After the interview I was told I would hear from the internal recruiter within 7 days. I heard nothing so emailed and received no response. From what I could see from LinkedIn the recruiter had left the company for a job elsewhere. I emailed another recruitment contact there and received no response.
Assume that I didn’t get the job.

Interview
The process started with a hirevue interview, which was a half an hour video interview. They ask 5 questions, the hiring team reviews it and calls for an on-site.
My onsite was rather interesting, consisting of 5 people starting with the hiring manager. The first 2 interview went great. And then I had a lunch break. After the lunch break the tone changed. My interviews got shorter and interviewers started asking me very basic question like how would you define product management (was asked 3 times). They were also interviewing another candidate with me, and I think they liked him more than me. But my experience with Expedia wasn't very good since things started doing downhill.

Interview
HR called me and scheduled a phone interview with the hiring manager. On the day of the interview, hiring manager bailed out 30 mins before the interview. Got an email from HR saying that I should expect a follow up on rescheduling the interview. I tried following up multiple times, never heard from back till now. Not even an apology.

Hiring Manager bailed out 30 mins before the phone interview and never heard back. Expedia absolutely doesn't value your time or sentiment. Would not even recommend engaging with them. I have no idea how they hire employees.
