The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Portland, OR)
Interview
Was reached out to by a sourcer for a full time role with Expedia. Interview process consisted of an initial phone interview, video interview with the hiring manager and then 2 other on-site interviews with team members. They didn’t ask me too much about my experience and hiring manager was pretty condescending. Was told that they liked me however someone else was better suited for the role and tried to offer me contract instead but could not guarantee full time. Honestly I would have rather them just not offer me that because it was like a rude second place prize.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (London, England) in Apr 2017
Interview
Reached out on LinkedIn by recruiter
Phone call with the recruiter: general call to tell me a bit more about the company , the role and hear more about my experience
3 on site interviews with 1 coordinator + 1 recruiter, then 1 recruiting manager, then another recruiting manager. They just asked very generic questions, they did ask the same questions, it didn't feel like I was very challenged during the recruitment process. It was just very basic questions.
