I applied online. I interviewed at Farmfoods (Preston, North West England, England) in Aug 2017
Interview
Wasn't really an interview lasted for about 5 minutes. Made me wait around on the shop floor for 15 minutes. The interview was just the manager asking me about my education and previous work experience then ask if I had any holidays booked. There was bout 3 other people that applied for the role and I was told I would find out whether I got the job or not by Monday (My interview was on a Friday). Not very happy with the company as I was told by the manager I was over qualified for the job compared to the other people that applied but I still haven't heard back from them which made me think I was unsuccessful. How embarrassing that I was over qualified for a job that pays £5.70 and hour and still didn't get it.
I applied online. I interviewed at Farmfoods (Dumfries, Schottland) in Jun 2017
Interview
One on one in the basement, pretty creepy and unorganised. Lasted about 10 minutes. Overall it was a very lax experience. I got hired the same day. Some interviews are in groups but most are one on one and do not take too long.

Interview
easy, simple questions - laid back, felt not as formal as ive had before. if anything really comfortable and the questions were fine, it lasted about 20-30 minutes. if youve worked in retail before you'll have no problems. they are very good with staff who havent worked in retail before, its just they warn you its a very high pressured and fast paced job
