One first phone screening, then my resume was sent to an Interview selection panel.
The validation process took almost two weeks.
Then the first interview is set up (it was an hour long phone interview).
After that I did two others on site interview with different team members (1h each time).
I got the answer of each interview 1 week after doing it, and set up the following one for the next week.
It was a fairly long recruitment process in the end, about 2 month.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2016
Interview
Got referred by someone who works there. Process took over 4 weeks, had to email them 2 weeks after the phone screen to see what stage the process was at, they quickly organised an onsite interview after that.
First stage was fairly standard HR phone screen. Second stage was onsite interview with 2 department managers. They went through my past experience asking questions. Then some technical questions, nothing too difficult, just basic OOP and RDBMS stuff. Finished with a few STAR competency style questions. Overall the interview seemed a bit too laid back and interviewers didn't really push me. I got strong vibe that they had already interviewed somebody that they were much more interested in for the role and I was just brought in as part of due process or as a backup candidate? Feedback from recruiter more or less confirmed this.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Bengaluru) in Jan 2016
Interview
This is the most disgusting and terrible 'interview' I have ever had. I traveled for over 40 kms just to attend this interview and everything got over in less than 10 minutes. The interviewer behaved as if I came to waste his time & was in a great hurry. Just threw couple of questions & asked me to leave. He was not even patient to listen the answers. Highly arrogant and behaved as if he knew everything. I wonder if the company has such 'geniuses' why do they even conduct the interviews? If this the attitude towards job-seekers I can imagine how they treat the employees. Highly discouraging and demotivating experience. Shame on you Fidelity India.
