Phone screening comes first then they make you do an online assessment. The online assessment has stuff that a regular embedded systems engineer isn't familiar with. Then, there is a behavioral/technical interview.

I had a negative interview experience with Fortinet. During the interview, some of the interviewers did not turn on their cameras, which made it challenging to establish a personal connection and create a comfortable environment. Additionally, I was asked about my year of graduation to determine my age, which I found unprofessional and potentially discriminatory.
