I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fortinet (Burnaby, BC) in Aug 2017
Interview
The interview was divided in Three stages:
1- Phone interview with the recruiter.
2- Knowledge test (done at home with 2.5 hrs time limit).
3- Interview with manager, director and teammate.
The entire interview process was great. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional.

Interview
Gave my resume to the booth at my school's career fair. The guy was arrogant, but it helped land me an interview with the team.
Started off with a phone screen. Not difficult, just to verify that I'm human.
Next was the take home assessment. I was given 48 hours to work on it before I had to submit it. I was actually given two take home assessments for two different roles. I did both of them.
Next was the onsite interview. I showed up and they handed me an exam that I had to write for an hour and a half. They were similar to the aptitude test given by Amazon. Following that exam, they handed me another exam that focused on networking fundamentals, for which I had 45 minutes to complete. Following that, was the actual interview with a panel.
I had no idea which team I was actually interviewing for. The HR lady told me "Software Developer" but when I got to the interview there were three people representing three teams: QA, Analytics, and Tools. The technical questions were really easy.
Following this was an interview with the VP. It wasn't difficult, just asked me questions about my resume.

Interview
paper exam + face-to-face interviews, Phone interview first and then On-site. I have to say, the whole process is pretty good and better than I expected. However, they tend to recruit more experienced people than fresh grad.
