I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Fujitsu (Bracknell, England) in Jun 2019
Interview
Online application followed by video interview and online assessment. If successful you will be invited to one of their Graduate Assessment Centres. Day was split into two parts, in the morning had to do two group tasks and give a presentation, one involved building a structure and the other we we're given different roles to play and had to debate with other members of the group. Presentation was on what fascinates you about technology. If you pass both of these two tasks you will be called to a final interview with the hiring manager, who will ask you a few direct questions.
The hiring managers will seem really open and friendly but it's a FACADE, they want to see who will take the initiative to be the loudest, the most forward and direct, the biggest and the best frankly. I went to the assessment day thinking I could be myself, open, honest and respectful. DO NOT DO THIS!!!
I had a follow up call a week later telling me I was unsuccessful as the hiring manager felt my personality was not suitable and that I should of "went all out". However the hiring managers were all smiles and praise on the day. Complementing on how well I did and how amazing an addition I would be to Fujitsu, how they “need more people like me”. The candidates who I spoke to after the assessment day was over claimed that they said the exact same words to them! Also, bizarrely, not a single question was asked about my CV or my educational background or my past working experience.
I have got to say that never in my life had I come across such dishonesty, prejudice and bias at a job interview.

Question 1
If you were given a budget to start a new project, what would you choose?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Fujitsu (Northwood, South East England, England) in Jul 2019
Interview
1. CV Submission
2. Online Tests (SJT, Maths)
3. Video Interview (If Successful, you’re not guarenteed a place at the Assessment Day)
4. Assessment Day
- Intro
- 1st Group Task
- Your Pre-Prepared Presentation
- 2nd Group Task
- Lunch (Here you are told whether you stay on for the 1-1 interview or whether you’re unsuccessful and have to go home)
- 1-1 Interview
Overall it took around 5 months from the Online tests to the Assessment Centre, like most grad schemes it varies upon what time in the year you applied/how many spaces are left.
The day was very good and Fujitsu have very practical and logical testing approaches, thats why I felt I did well as opposed to others where its just a case study then a 1-1 interview. They are big on what skills/ideas you can bring to the role. Just be calm on the day and perform the best you can is my advice.
