Started with back to back phone screens with two different internal recruiters and then a WebEx conference with their Lead Skilled Assessor. Strangely enough I had back to back role plays (last phone screen and WebEx). Apparently if you’re a good role player you’re Gartner material.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Egham, England)
Interview
Competency based interviews with a strong focus on your personality and the traits that they look for in Gartner sales professionals. Process took around 3 weeks. Panel interview is quite difficult and they really put you through your paces! They treat you with a lot of respect though and all in all a great learning experience as well.

Question 1
Describe a time that you failed and how did you deal with it?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Gartner in Feb 2019
Interview
I had 4 Interviews in total, 2 with HR and 2 with Leaders of Account Executives.
One of the leaders and the 2 HR employees couldn't figure out that there is sales which is different to what they do at Gartner.
Only the second executive I spoke to really tried to understand what I currently do and how I could bring a benefit to the company.
The 2 interviews with HR were via phone, the ones with the Sales Leaders were video conference.
In the end after the whole process I got a simple mail from their HR system telling me that they didn't chose me. There was no response when I asked for additional feedback.
