I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Egham, England) in Jun 2018
Interview
The interview process was one of the most challenging I have exer experienced, yet extremely rewarding in all aspects and I learned a lot throughout the process. The recruitment team is first-class and their feedback contributed in my growth.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Durham, NC) in Dec 2018
Interview
My experience interviewing with Gartner has unfortunately been one of the worst I’ve ever had with any company. Starting out I was very excited as a recruiter contacted me initially saying I was a great fit for several of the Account Manager roles they had open. My first interview went great and I was scheduled for a second with a recruiter. The day of the interview it was 15 minutes past the time I was supposed to interview and I hadn’t heard anything from the recruiter . I had tried to contact them on LinkedIn when finally I got the call 20 mins late. The interview itself went fine and I was told I’d move on to the final step before an on-site. I was waiting for a confirmation of the time and prep for nearly a week before messaging the recruiter again on LinkedIn since I did not have an email about next steps. We confirmed a time after around 3 messages I sent to her asking about it. Then I’m waiting another 2 weeks when I finally get a calendar invite for the interview. It is not the time we agreed on or the date so I had to get it rescheduled again and take a half day off of work! When the video interview finally happened it went well and the interviewer said that I did well and said that there would be a decision made by the following Wednesday. Wednesday rolls around and no response about the job I finally hear back Friday and the recruiter offers no explanation why I did not fit for the role other than saying they have other lead generation and account manager roles. I sent an email asking why I wasn’t a good fit and still have gotten no reply almost 3 weeks later. This is a bad way to keep hiring new talent
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Lissabon, Lissabon) in Nov 2018
