I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2024
Interview
First is a preliminary interview, about 15-30 mins. Basic questions just trying to grasp more about you. After that is a 1 hour interview with the HR, I would advice to get a good grasp of the STAR method, it was a very classic style interview.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gartner in Jul 2024
Interview
I was approached by Gartner for an interview. In the initial call, I was given a salary much lower than anticipated, so upon reflection, I emailed saying I would hope for a higher range. They then called back and gave a much higher salary, but pretended they'd told me that from the off which seemed a little manipulative.
I got a Google interview and spent hour preparing a bunch of STAR method answers, On the day the interviewer was 10 minutes late and did not let me know. I had to chase him and his response was pretty blunt.
The interview was fairly difficult and our chemistry wasn't the best, but the guy told me I'd get an answer within a few days. It's been weeks now and I've heard nothing. Overall not a great interview experience

I applied online. I interviewed at Gartner (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2024
Interview
I was reached out to get my availability and then was ghosted. No reply after two follow ups. The recruiter was extremely unprofessional. If this is how candidates are treated I can't imagine what it is like internal there.
