The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Fort Myers, FL) in Jan 2019
Interview
Went through employee referral, received telephone interview with a recruiter. Went seemingly well, was told to look out for an email for further steps prior to in person interview. Email did not come for about a week and then it took another two weeks before the actual interview was confirmed. In person interview with panel was very nice and informative. Received an email the next day from the recruiter stating a decision would be made by week’s end and then two weeks passed without another response. I emailed the recruiter looking for any updates and never received anything. Would be nice to get a rejection email if that’s the case. Doesn’t take much effort to send a quick email if you ask me. HR seems to be lacking.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Have you ever had a disagreement with a coworker and how did you handle it?
Huge waste of time. They had me do a whole presentation on Power BI of sample data just to tell me they didn't think I had enough experience presenting to senior leadership. This was an entry level role and honestly have no idea what they are expecting
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Find the outliers in data, analyze peaks/trends within the year
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner in Apr 2025
Interview
Individual interviews and panel interview. Panel interview consists of about 6 people and you present your work to them and they ask questions. Can take over 2-4 weeks to complete.
Recruiter screen, HM screen, 2 SME interviews, written exercise + panel.
I had a very positive interview with 3 of the interviewers and 1 unprofessional interviewer. This person did not ask me questions. Instead they explained aspects of the role at Gartner and kept implying I would not enjoy working there and ended by telling me I was not qualified for their department.
As a Gartner customer, this was a 1/5 star experience.
