I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Gartner (Barcelona) in Nov 2020
Interview
Several prep calls before a final call with the recruiter. Everything happened online due to the pandemic. In both phone and skype interviews, they provide a lot of feedback during the process
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why sales? Why Gartner? Some behavioural interviews aligned with Gartner's values. e.g. a situation where you did something wrong and had to admit it... (not the exact question but on those lines)
A phone interview asking me about interest in the role and the company not too difficult but did not progress me. Took a couple of weeks to get back to me and provided no feedback.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (London, England) in Apr 2024
Interview
The first stage was an initial interview with a graduate recruiter who was really kind and professional. He put me through to the second stage and even had a prep call on Teams with me. The second stage was another interview with a sales recruiter, but he was a nightmare. An incredibly unprofessional young man with a messy hair and stained t-shirt swinging on his gaming chair. Made me do some nonsense sales roleplay. Good sales technique is not something you test but train when it's a graduate role.

Question 1
Can you give me an example of a situation where you turned a "no" into a "yes"?
First a an informative talk. Afterwards first real interview with HR. I declined to continue with the recruting process after that. During the first interview they ask a lot about your motivation and talk a lot about the position
