I've actually interviewed 3 times with them at separate occasions. One of those times having a 2nd interview and having the same negative experience as some others have mentioned. Each time I interviewed, I was turned down because I didn't have 1 skill which ended up being a dealbreaker for them. It's disheartening when you really want to work for company, but turn you down because they are seeking the "perfect candidate" and not allowing any room to experience growth. Why do you shut down candidates that meet (or exceed) the criteria but missing one skill?
They offered to send me the details of another position I may fit, I've also experienced this before when a recruiter says this, they usually don't send anything. Then you're ghosted trying to follow-up with them.
Their process seems very robotic and I am sure they are missing out on great candidates.
Thorough process with a significant amount of structure. Advise to do external research on top of the resources that they share with you proactively. Behavioral based scenario thinking focus. Overall an enjoyable process.

Question 1
Describe a challenge in your past, and how you overcame it?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Gartner (New York, NY) in Feb 2024
Interview
Applied through an employee referral. Interviewer was very impersonal and impolite. Could not get a word in, and she seemed to dislike me off the bat despite my attempts to establish commonality. She had no desire to learn more about my experience or why I would be a fit for the role. Generic rejection email sent shortly after our meeting. I know for a fact from internal parties that >35% of reps achieve quota, and it's a difficult product to sell during this economic climate. No way to rate entire interview process, as I was rejected within the first 5 min IMO.
