I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Irving, TX) in Nov 2023
Interview
Very difficult and involved interview process, this is not for the feint of heart. The entire process took 3 weeks from when I applied to when I received an offer.
1st Round: 30 minute recruiter call about your resume, your interests and experience, and what you know about Gartner
2nd Round: 1hr call with recruiter and all behavioral questions. They do a great job helping you prepare for this, so looking up common BBI questions and practice answering in a STAR format.
3rd Round: 1hr timed writing sample. You receive a Business Article and have one hour to write a response.
4th & 5th round: 2hr back to back interviews. 1hr of another behaviorally based question round and a 1hr case interview. You are given a buisness problem and the interviewer asks questions to guide you through your answer. Definitely review case studies and trust your gut, they aren’t looking for a correct answer, just to see if you can formulate a decision based on data. I don’t come from a business background and had to learn about case studies in about 2 weeks, I believe in y’all!
Overall it was a difficult process, but I absolutely loved the people I spoke to and had great conversations. Gartner does a great job of providing prep materials that help you understand the format of the interviews and know what you need to prepare. It is also really important that during every step, you demonstrate how much you understand about Gartner and how interested you are in the company and role.

Question 1
Lots of behaviorally based questions, like Tell me about a time you worked in a group and your performance depended on theirs, Tell me about the hardest research project you’ve worked on, etc. Very helpful to think of tons of examples beforehand and practice them in STAR format answers
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Dallas, TX)
Interview
Very relaxed first two interviews. Behavioral are typical questions that use STAR method in story telling. HRB case-study writing assignment can be difficult, but make sure to read other HRB case-studies and know how to condense the material.

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Gartner in Sep 2023
Interview
Mine was a campus interview. The process was quick and to the point. The interviewers knew what they were looking for and even the questions were according to your CV, so if you don't beat around the bush much and just be you, you've a chance to get selected.
