Gartner Principal Research Analyst interview questions

The process was supposed to comprise several rounds of interviews, starting with a peer, then the reporting manager and then the research director followed by the geography VP. I was approached by a HR manager who wanted me to first agree to a pay grade before they even schedule the first round. I was sceptical of such a model. Nevertheless, I agreed, since I figured each company has its own idiosyncrasies and this might be Gartner's. How I was mistaken. While it took a couple of iterations before we agreed on a potential pay, it took over 3-4 weeks for this! And once we've agreed on a pay, the communication trail went cold.Highly unprofessional. Somewhere during this period I was also asked to spend some time answering a series of written questions.
